Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. She was able to survive on her student stipend as she worked part-time. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability when compared with her peers and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The band did not make it to the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album came out in 1992. Commercially and critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. At the end of the 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with their debut record Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album that features the cover versions of some popular songs like No MoreILove Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
