Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bilingual and bicultural. She has worked with a wide variety of groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse, survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. She has served Erie clients in the year 2019 The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team working with pre and postpartum women, specializes in trauma-informed treatment and EMDR therapy for adults. She provides group and individual counseling, a Medication Assisted Therapy Program and referrals to special care facilities, as well as a Women's Support Group. Amanda is also a member of the Best Friends Animal Society. She assists pets in need of home. She is completely convinced of Best Friends' slogan, save Them Everyone and is determined to contribute in helping Los Angeles become a no kill city.
